As usual, Matt Mathews was phenomenal! Great venue to see Matt perform (especially from dead center in row 2), the sound was great, the band was tight & the new drummer, Tal, was excellent. His singing is soulful and he is a master on the guitar. I've seen about all of the great guitarists & none have anything on Matt...he very well could be the best on the planet. Been following Matt for 8 years, from when he played for much smaller crowds, & he was great back then. This show was unbelievable.....as good as it gets! Matt puts every ounce of energy into his performance......he makes you feel every note & every word....you're riding right along with him on a roller coaster of emotion. This was an awesome concert! Go see this guy anywhere ya can....especially back at The Midland.....He's super talented, but also a humble, giving, & all around great person.
